About our founder

Sally Allen founded A Place for Everything back in 1997, long before decluttering, The Container Store, and Marie Kondo were part of our everyday language.

She combined her experience with Marriott International Hotels and Resorts, her work with the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Committee and the 1996 Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games and her experience with moving her family 19 times into a business specializing in home organization and relocation.
